Description: A402 is a Cr26Ni21 pure austenitic stainless steel electrode with titanium calcium coating. It can be used for both AC and DC with excellent operating performance. The deposited metal has good oxidation resistance under the high temperature condition of 900 ~ 1100 ℃. Application: Used for welding the same type of heat-resistant stainless steel working under high temperature conditions, and can also be used for welding of hardened chromium steels (such as Cr5Mo, Cr9Mo, Cr13 and Cr28, etc.) and dissimilar steels. - The electrode must be baked for 1 hour at around 250℃ before the welding operation;
- Because the penetration depth is shallow during AC welding, the DC power supply should be used as much as possible to get deeper penetration. and the current should not be too large to avoid the redness of the welding rod.
